Riviera de São Lourenço | The dream that became reality
Riviera de São Lourenço is not defined in a few words. Beautiful, organized, quiet, safe, clean, these attributes are undoubtedly the result of an innovative concept of sustainability combined with perfect planning, organization and administration.
It was in 1979 that the directors of the companies that own – Praias Paulistas SA and Cia Fazenda Acaraú – conceived this innovative project, in partnership with Sobloco Construtora S/A, for the urbanization of an area of 9 million square meters, distant 120 km from São Paulo, in the city of Bertioga.
In August of that year the contract was signed. The Riviera de São Lourenço was born. A layout of the road network, which followed the guidelines provided by the City Hall of the Municipality of Santos, represented the starting point of the Urban Plan.
The entire project was implemented following the envisaged sustainable plan, its infrastructure – water collection, treatment and distribution, sewage collection and treatment, as well as the preservation of more than 80% of its occupancy area.
The beauty is not just about the scenery. It goes further, revealing itself in different aspects, such as the complete infrastructure of basic sanitation, the preservation of flora and fauna, the collection and adequate disposal of solid waste, the offer of first quality services, efficient security, and the programs of environmental education and professional training aimed at the community guarantee the quality of life and well-being of residents and visitors to the Riviera, which has given the locality the ISO 14001 Certification for its Environmental Management System.

In addition to promoting safety within its scope of action, it guides its associates on the proper use of the beach, takes care of compliance with urban restrictions, maintenance of water and sewage systems, landscaping and everything that involves well-being. ordinary.
